iCracked.com is a service that was started in 2010. They have a team of 5,000+ iTechs who can repair your iOs and Android devices. They were the “Inc. #22 fastest growing company in 2015”. Currently, they have repaired over 659,000 gadgets in the eight years they have been in business.

The idea behind iCracked.com is your cell phone breaks and you need it repaired rather than having to go up to the Apple store to get it fixed. Instead, they come to you and fix it for you.

Upon reviewing iCracked.com we were fortunate to read a couple positive reviews on them at:

There are only a small amount of iCracked reviews that don’t praise the company:

So, if you break your smartphone or tablet and need it fixed quickly we are going to show you how it works. We will go over the prices, customer support, and then at the end write a final verdict on iCracked.

Inside Look At iCracked

iCracked LoginWhen you log in to their site at iCracked.com you are prompted with a series of questions. First, you will be asked to put in your zip code. Then you specify your device (iPhone, iPad, or Samsung Galaxy).  Next, you will specify the problem.

Lastly, you will receive a text message (presuming your phone is still functional), but you will receive a confirmation email or a phone call within 10 minutes.

Usually, they can meet you the same day depending on your schedule. Which is very nice if you need your device fixed as quick as possible.

iCracked will show up at your house, coffee shop, wherever you request (within reason). They give you a quote when they call you and finalize the meeting. The quote will include the parts, labor, and of course their travel. They do offer warranties which I will discuss a little later.

When an agent shows up they run a quick diagnostic on your device. Then, they go to work and repair your phone. It usually only takes about an hour or so for them to fix the device.

They can fix the following problems:

  • Cracked screen.
  • Charging port.
  • Microphone.
  • HP port.
  • Home button.
  • Ear speaker.
  • Side button.
  • Front/rear camera.
  • Power button.
  • Loud speaker.
  • Battery.

DIY (Gadget Repair With iCracked.com)

For all you DIY (do-it-yourself) people out there iCracked does sell replacement kits for your iPhones and iPads, too. Their kits are reasonably priced. They are $14-$79. iCracked also sells tools. They do have a lot of flow charts and an awesome YouTube account that has lots of how-to videos.

iCracked.com Warranty

iCracked does offer a lifetime warranty. This does cover the parts and accessories. You do have to remain the owner, though. Here is a link which does show their warranty policy: https://www.icracked.com/lifetime-warranty

How Good Is iCracked Customer Support

Customer support is very quick to respond to your request. As we have stated earlier in this iCracked review you can expect a phone call and email confirmation within 10 minutes of filling out questions pertaining to your problem.

Their agents are trained and certified. Therefore, it’s not just a random guy working for $9.00/hour fixing your device.

iCracked Prices

iCracked Kits

The average cost is usually about $99 to $129. This saves you the hassle of doing it yourself with a kit, possibly messing up the device, standing in line, having to take your device to a local shop, etc.

iCracked iPhone Repair Cost

iPhones are expensive and let’s face it you don’t want to spend several hundreds of dollars to get a new one.  Not to mention if you get a new one and order it online you’re going to have to wait several days.  Since iPhones are usually the most common repairs requested you can expect to pay anywhere from $99 to $129 for the repairs. This does cover the parts, cost of travel, and you’re really paying for the convenience.

Final Verdict

Visit iCracked.com NowiCracked is highly recommended.

So, overall we feel iCracked.com is a decent option if you need your iPhone, iPad, or Samsung Galaxy fixed as soon as possible. It’s a convenient service that beats having to stand in line at Best Buy, the Apple Store, or any local gadget repair shop.

It’s a convenient service that does come with a price-tag for convenience, though. You can get up to a lifetime warranty for your device, too. Their techs can meet you at your house, local coffee shop, etc.

iCracked isn’t the cheapest option, though. But, paying for convenience does have a price-tag. A price-tag which many are willing to pay.

Again, we do recommend iCracked if you break your iPhone, iPad, and Samsung Galaxy.

Wow, great review. Seems like there are so many of us needing this service. It can be hard when you break your phone. Very stressful actually. How long is a device out while being repaired? Also, is your content safe while my item is away from me?

    • March 4, 2018 at 5:03 pm

Allow me to clear some confusion. You don’t have to go to iCracked. They come to you. Which is a lot more convenient than having to mail your device in or stand in line somewhere. It usually only takes them 30 minutes to 1 hour once they are there to repair your device, though. You do have to schedule them to show up, which can happen on the same day.

As far as your content is concerned with your device you can literally be in the same room while they are working on it. Some people like to stay in the same room when they are repairing. Others don’t want to feel like they are hovering over the employee.

So it sounds like iCracked is the solution to my broken phone problems right? Prices are OK I guess for the service they provide.

Waiting time isn’t a deterrent either. Wow, 600 cities huh? They must be doing something right.

Thanks for the thorough and informative review. Guess I know where to go if my phone breaks.

Yeah, it’s important to know that you’re paying for convenience. They are an excellent option for repairing your iPhone, iPad, and Samsung Galaxy. Yeah, 600 cities so pretty much almost anywhere in the United States.

I agree with you. This could be a valuable service especially for DIY types like me. The cost of these devices are too expensive and is not likely you can just buy one every time something happens. Thank you for bringing this outfit to my attention.

    • March 5, 2018 at 7:35 pm

Exactly, it really isn’t fun if you drop your expensive smartphone and don’t have one until you either buy a new or have it repaired.

Warning to anyone reading this iCracked review.

Stay far away from this company. They are both a hassle and a waste of money! The Apple store is a much better way to go. To be quite honest with you it cost about the same amount, too.

The agent showed up 40 minutes after he was supposed to. He installed a screen in my iPhone. However, it was a screen that had a big scratch in it. Their warranty was three months. I called after 3 months (what a joke!) and they told me they couldn’t replace it for free.

All I can say is avoid iCracked. They were a waste of money and installed a screen that wasn’t even new? Come on iCracked!

Wow, iCracked is a life saver! I literally can not survive without my iPhone. I broke the screen in the morning and was freaking out. I went to work and did some research and found iCracked. They fixed my screen on that same day. The tech was on time and it only took 30 minutes before my iPhone was working again!

    Very happy, and highly recommended!
